TERMS OF SERVICE
Service, Deposit & Cancellation Policy
At Valor & Vine Landscaping LLC, we value our customers’ time and appreciate the opportunity to care for and enhance your property. To maintain an organized schedule and provide reliable service to every customer, the following policies apply to scheduled landscaping projects.
Estimates & Project Approval
All project pricing is based on the services and scope of work outlined in the customer’s estimate or invoice. Pricing may change if the customer requests additional services, materials, or modifications after the original estimate has been approved.
Any additional charges will be communicated to and approved by the customer before additional work is performed.
Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required for all projects totaling more than $150.
The deposit must be received before the project is placed on our confirmed work schedule. A requested service date is not guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.
The remaining project balance is due upon completion of the agreed-upon services, unless another payment arrangement has been provided in writing.
Deposit Refunds
Deposits are used to reserve scheduling, purchase or secure materials, and prepare for the customer’s project.
If a customer cancels a project more than 48 hours before the scheduled service date, any refundable portion of the deposit may be returned, less any materials already purchased specifically for the project and any non-refundable expenses already incurred by Valor & Vine Landscaping LLC.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service date may result in the deposit becoming non-refundable.
If Valor & Vine Landscaping LLC is unable to complete the project and cannot reasonably reschedule the service, the customer will receive a refund of any applicable deposit for services that were not performed.
Rescheduling
We understand that unexpected circumstances occur. Customers needing to reschedule should contact us at least 48 hours before their scheduled service date whenever possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date based on availability.
Repeated rescheduling or last-minute changes may require a new deposit before another service date can be reserved.
Weather Delays
Landscaping services are dependent upon weather and property conditions.
Rain, storms, extreme temperatures, saturated soil, lightning, or other conditions that could affect employee safety, equipment, materials, or the quality of the finished project may require services to be postponed.
Weather-related postponements are not considered customer cancellations and will not cause the customer to lose their deposit.
If weather prevents work from being completed as scheduled, Valor & Vine Landscaping LLC will work with the customer to arrange the next reasonably available service date.
Materials & Special Orders
Materials purchased specifically for an approved customer project may be non-refundable once purchased, particularly when materials are custom ordered, specially cut, delivered, or otherwise unable to be returned to the supplier.
Any applicable material costs may therefore be deducted from a refundable deposit if the customer cancels after materials have been purchased.
Changes to the Scope of Work
The customer’s quoted price covers only the services included in the approved estimate.
Requests for additional landscaping, additional square or linear footage, additional materials, removal services, repairs, or other work outside of the original scope may result in additional charges.
No additional billable work will be performed without communicating the change to the customer.
Property Conditions
Customers are responsible for informing Valor & Vine Landscaping LLC of any known underground irrigation components, invisible fencing, drainage systems, utility lines, landscape lighting wires, or other privately installed items located within the project area.
If unexpected site conditions are discovered that materially change the amount or type of work required, the customer will be notified before substantial additional work or charges are incurred.
Project Completion & Final Payment
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the remaining balance is due upon completion of the services described in the approved estimate.
A project will be considered complete when the agreed-upon scope of work has been substantially performed.
Any questions or concerns regarding completed work should be brought to our attention promptly so we have an opportunity to review and address them.
Customer Agreement
Payment of the required deposit and/or approval of an estimate indicates that the customer has reviewed and accepted the agreed-upon scope of work, project pricing, and applicable service policies.
